Logistics support is a critical pre-requisite to cash and voucher assistance at all stages, from preparedness to monitoring and evaluation. A timely engagement of logisticians, including in the cash feasibility assessment, market analysis, procurement and monitoring of suppliers, is necessary to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the different options to address the needs of communities. Logistics is also key to programme design, contributing to increasing the speed, scale and quality of CVA as a modality to deliver humanitarian assistance.
This session will showcase key experiences of the RCRC Movement in contracting financial services providers to deliver cash and voucher assistance to the people affected by crisis. Session will discuss challenges usually face in negotiating service agreements with FSPs and will also touch base on the Data Protection and how we can mitigate related risks.
