This session will discuss further the use, the process, and the importance of map/geospatial data in disaster management and response. We will share stories from Indonesia and the Philippines through the INAware and PhilAware project on how local communities and governments generate and utilize the information from the ground. Lastly, demonstrations will be conducted using the HOT Tasking Manager, how you can export map data from OSM, and MapSwipe!
