Swoop Aero provides an unmatched aerial logistics system, based around the use of our purpose built remotely piloted aircraft, or drones. Our aircraft are capable of long-distance cargo delivery, delivering up to 3kg over a distance of 130km, utilising both mobile coverage and satellite communications to ensure flights can take place anywhere in the world, in any situation. Our aircraft have carried prescription medication, vaccines, blood products, PPE, and anti-venom, and have retrieved tests for diseases such as COVID-19, Ebola, TB and HIV.
Our aircraft is a fixed wing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) system, meaning it only requires a small, 5m x 5m space to operate. As a result the aircraft requires no infrastructure such as a runway or catapult, making it the ideal platform to support dynamic humanitarian and disaster relief operations.
Our system is more than just an aircraft however, and also includes a flight management system, a logistics management system, and learning management system, meaning it can be easily integrated alongside your existing capabilities and systems.
As well as the ability to deliver cargo, the Swoop Aero aircraft can also be utilised to gather information, through the fitting of a variety of cameras and sensors, helping to gather information before, during, and after a natural disaster or humanitarian emergency.
About Swoop Aero
Swoop Aero was founded to make access to the skies seamless. Our core service commitment is to provide the world's leading technology platform for safe, reliable, and sustainable drone logistics. We provide a fully integrated and connected aviation platform, not just a drone, supported by advanced technology that sits behind everything that we do.
Swoop Aero has extensive experience across three continents and seven countries to date, and since our founding in Australian in 2017 we have flown over 100,000km of operational drone flights, or more than two and a half times around the globe. In doing so we have had a significant impact, with operations across Australia, the UK, Malawi, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Vanuatu. Working with partners such as UNICEF, USAid, UKAid, Gavi the Vaccine Alliance, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and VillageReach, our achievements include delivering the first drone-transported vaccine in the world to be administered to a human in Vanuatu in 2017, partnering with the NHS in Scotland in a UK first trial, and delivering over 75,000 vaccine doses across Malawi, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Scotland. We have a record of operational excellence, safety, and partner satisfaction that few companies globally can match.
